Greg's Take: I logged about 70 ski days on these this past winter (23/24) in a myriad of conditions. Needless to say they check all the boxes for me. I was able to keep up with speedier partners on the skintrack and could really lean into my turns on the way back down. They have an impressive range of motion without tipping the scale like the Maestrale of old (verified weight of 1434g for size 26). My typical setup included a Black Crows Navis (102mm) with an ATK Raider 12 binding. Although the ROM is friendly for a boot of this caliber, I would seek a binding that has two heel risers for those steeper skin tracks. They did see occasional resort use as well; paired with a Salomon Shift and a snappier Blizzard Rustler 9 I was able to ski all day with much less fatigue compared to a heavier alpine setup.
