Previously misidentified as Hemianthus micranthemoides or Micranthemum micranthemoides, this species was correctly identified in 2011, and has since earned popularity among aquascapers for its fine, curved light-green leaves and bushy growth form.

This versatile stem plant adapts beautifully to a variety of aquascaping styles—whether used as a foreground carpet, a dense midground bush, or even as a nano tank background. Its small size and responsive growth habits make it a favorite for trimming, shaping, and layering within complex layouts.
